Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Sunshine Stars has completed the summer signing of Isaac James, from Remo Stars. It is a loan deal with an option to make it permanent at the end of the 2024/25 season.
The forward had a challenging campaign last season with injuries which affected his playing time on the coach Daniel Ogunmodede’s Remo Stars team that finished second place behind champions, Rangers International.
Isaac, also featured for the Sky Blue Stars during the just concluded 2024 Value Jet Cup in Ikenne, which was won by Remo Stars. He thereafter left the Ikenne side to join the Akure gunners on loan, with hope to make the deal permanent by the end of the season.
This move to Sunshine Stars is a fresh start for the Benue-born forward and expectedly will contribute massively to the Kennedy Boboye-led side as they continue preparations ahead of the new football season.
