Paul Onuachu’s transfer to Trabzonspor almost set

Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu, is set to join Trabzonspor in the Turkish league before the transfer window closes.

The Southampton forward spent the 2023/2024 campaign on loan to Karadeniz Fırtınası. The Turkish team were keen on signing him on a permanent deal but the English turned down their modest offer insisting on a minimum of €10m.

Trabzonspor are still confident though that they can reach a deal for Onuachu and expect a change of mind and a positive response from Southampton before the English transfer window slams shut.
