Dolphins take on MFM on Day Two of Zenith Bank Basketball playoff

The Final-8 playoff of the Zenith Bank Women’s Basketball League continues on Day 2 in Lagos today with the game between Dolphins and MFM as the last match of the day and also the star match of the day. The fixture is for 4pm local time.

The Final-8 took the tip-off on Thursday with three matches. Nigeria Customs took on the Dolphins in the first match of the competition and won the game 74-61. That was the thriller of the day also.

Bayelsa Whales defeated Titan ladies 60-42 in a game in which the Bayelsan queens had control from the jump ball to the buzzer. Former national champions First Bank beat the Royal Aces 76-46 in a game that got sparks all through.

On Friday, Bayelsa and Royal Aces with play the first match of the day. The Dolphins game against MFM will showcase players with more national and international exposure but the Bayelsa game against the Royal Aces is certainly the more balanced mix where crystal balls may not clearly show the winner until the buzzer. This game will be more entertaining. First Bank will face Titans in a game that the Elephant Girls will likely dominate all through.
