Abia Comets to play in Abia Governor’s NALCOMA Tournament

 Abia Comets Football will participate in the Abia State Governor’s NALCOMA Pre-Season Tournament, which will kick off on Monday, November 4 at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba.

The tournament will feature eight professional clubs, in the South-east and South-south zones.

The Umuahia based club, will feature alongside fellow Nigeria National League (NNL) clubs: Edel FC (Awka), Abakaliki FC (Abakaliki), Kun Khalifat FC (Owerri), Godswill Akpabio FC (Uyo) and as well as Solutions FC of Awka. Two amateur league sides Diamond Academy (Umuahia) and Ahudia Nnem ( Aba) will also be competing in the four-day football programme which will end on Thursday, November 7, 2024.

The four days will hopefully provide a great opportunity for teams, to continue on its preparation ahead of the 2024/25 NNL season, which is expected to kickoff on November 30th.
