Abia Comets midfield star, Emeka, eyes victory over 1472 FC

Abia Comets FC midfielder, Emeka Maduka, has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure a crucial victory against Lagos-based club, 1472 FC in their Southern Conference A Matchday 2 clash.

The game is scheduled for Saturday at the Umuahia Township Stadium, Umuahia. Emeka, an exciting young midfielder, scored his first goal of the season in the Comets’ 2-1 away win over Edel FC last Sunday after coming on as a second-half substitute.

Speaking to ExtraSportsnigeriacom.wordpress shortly after Friday’s training session, Emeka shared his thoughts on the upcoming match.

Emeka said, “We’re ready to give it our all against 1472 FC to secure the victory. We’ve been training diligently, and the team spirit is high. We respect our opponents, but we are confident in our abilities.

“We’re aiming for nothing less than maximum points on Saturday, and I believe we’ll put up a good performance to achieve a positive result.”

Victory against 1472 FC will mark Abia Comets’ second win of the season and move them to top spot in the Southern Conference A standings.
