Draw for 4th Victor Ikpeba 5-A-Side football  holds on Wednesday

The Victor Ikpeba 5-A-Side tournament’s local organizing committee (LOC) has confirmed that preparations are in top gear for the 2024 edition. All participating teams are now known and set for Wednesday’s draw.

The tournament will take place from Thursday, December 19th to Saturday, December 21st.

 “This year’s edition promises to be more exciting. Initially, we planned for 16 teams, but due to overwhelming interest, we’ve expanded to 24 teams.”

The registration forms will be distributed to teams before Wednesday, when the draw will be held at the D’Cloud Arena, located after Osubi Airport in Osubi, Delta State. The draws will commence at 9am, followed by screening of the Under 20 players. The first match will kick off on Thursday at 8am.

The tournament will be live streamed on Topsportsafrik and the Victor Ikpeba 5-A-Side Facebook handles.

The legendary Victor Ikpeba, 1997 African Footballer of the Year, has also announced that he and his friends will play a novelty match to entertain fans.
