The Victor Ikpeba 5-A-Side challenge has reached its semifinal stage, with four teams set to battle it out for a spot in the final.
The tournament took a thrilling turn on Friday evening, as Ultimate Friends forced Victor Ikpeba and Friends to a 5-5 draw in a friendly match at the D-Cloud Sports Arena in Osubi, Delta State in honour of late veteran journalist Dapo Sotuminu.
The match, which kicked off at 6pm, was a festival of football, with both teams displaying impressive skills and determination. The friendly game was played after the quarterfinal matches, which produced the four semifinalists.
On Saturday, the semifinal matches will take place, with Mighty Wonderers facing off against Home FC at 12 noon, followed by Kollins Football Academy taking on Lord Mark FC at 1:40 pm. The winners of these matches will advance to the final, which promises to be an exciting showdown.
