Edel’s Team Manager, Michael bank on victory against Warri Wolves

The Team Manager of Edel FC,  Michael Chukwuebuka, has expressed confidence that the side will secure the maximum points, when they take on Warri Wolves, in this weekend’s Southern Conference A Matchday 6 encounter, on Sunday.

The clash which is scheduled for the Awka City Stadium, Awka, could see Edel bounce back to winning ways, after they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Beyond Limits, last weekend in Ikenne. 

While speaking with Extrasportsnigeria on Friday, Michael revealed that the team is well prepared and focused to get the maximum points. 

“It is a game like any other game we have played this season, Michael said. However, the only difference is that the mentality as far as the approach and preparation of the game by the boys is different.”

“There’s a hunger and desire to get one over former NPFL campaigners, Warri Wolves. Throughout the week the coaches, players have really worked hard and the expected result of such dedication is a convincing three points, not to take anything away from our opponent, but Sunday will be Edel’s day to bask in glory.”

Michael thanked the club supporters and the owner for the support, and urged the fans to keep on believing and trusting the team. 

“Equally, we want to thank our fans for the support so far, the top hierarchy of the club, led by the president, Chief Jude Edeh, appreciates your support.”

“We urge our fans to keep believing in the team, and I have the belief that we will turn a new corner starting from this game, against Warri Wolves on Sunday.”

Edel will be hoping to put up a good performance, and secure her second win of the season with the game in Awka.
