Abia Comets midfielder Okechukwu sees full points against Smart City

Ahead of the NNL Southern Conference A Matchday 11 encounter against Smart City on Saturday, Abia Comets’ exciting midfielder, Okechukwu Chukwu is hopeful his team will pick the maximum points. The match will be played in Umuahia.

The Umuahia-born  player has been one of the shining stars in the team this campaign, scoring two goals and two assists in nine league appearances.

While speaking with Extrasportsnigeria shortly after the team’s training session on Friday, at the Umuahia Township Stadium, Okechukwu his players knows what is at stake adding that they’re confident of picking the maximum points against Smart City. 

“Yes, I’m confident that we are going to get the maximum points on Saturday.

“However, it is not going to be an easy game against a side like Smart City, but we are playing at home, which will give us the extra advantage with our supporters behind us.

“We’ll put all our efforts to make sure that we secure the three points by the end of the game.”

A victory over Smart City will move the Comets Boys to third in the Southern Conference A standings while the league goes on a short mid season break after this weekend’s Matchday 11 fixtures.
