The latest discovery of Mavlon FC of Lagos, Oche Peter, has been awarded a scholarship by the club’s management, a member of the team has confirmed to Extrasport.wordpress.com.
“Oche at 10 years old is blessed with football intelligence higher than his age. He uses both legs effectively to the extent that his coaches and football fans cannot ascertain which of his foot is stronger,” the club said in Lagos on Friday.
The talented young footballer, who is Junior Secondary School 1 (JSS 1) pupil, will combine football and educational development under scholarship programme of Mavlon FC.
He has exhibited strong football potential and skills since his arrival at the club. Last weekend, he so dazzled everyone in one of the training sessions to the extent that fans that watched the training decided to give cash donations in appreciation of his football skills.
