Canada based Chess coach Pius Bamigboye promises cash to medalists 

Pius Bamigboye who is known for his love for Chess has decided to give back to the society and he is doing so with the donation of cash packages to the Kwara Chess team at the National Sports Festival in Abeokuta.  

For Team Kwara Gold, he will donate N50,000 and individual gold winners in Team Kwara will get N25,000.  Team Kwara Silver: N40,000 and individual silver: N20,000. The Team Bronze is 20,000 and individual bronze medal:N20,000. He has also added N20,000 for Chess game related refreshments.

Bamigboye is a popular chess personality who has paid his dues both as a player and a coach in Nigeria particularly with the Kwara State Sports Commission before moving to the Canada in search of greener pastures 20 months ago. 

He has charged Kwara State players to express their intellectual capacity to win laurels and sustain the  spirit of winning laurels for the state always.
