The owner of the new Nigeria Premier Football League champions Remo Stars Football Club, Honourable Kunle Soname, on Saturday, May 24th, welcomed members of the Rivers Whales Teqball team to the Remo Sports Complex in Ikenne.
The team began preparation at the Sports Complex on Saturday morning, ahead of its outing against hosts Ogun, Delta and Edo States, in the Teqball event of the ongoing National Sports Festival in Ogun State.
Soname expressed satisfaction at the level of coordination of the team. The sports investor encouraged the team to put in a good showing at the event.
Remo Stars coach, Daniel Ogunmodede was also on ground to give wonderful remarks to the team.
On his part, Rivers Whales and National Teqball coach, Keshi Chijioke, thanked the leadership of Remo Stars for the warm reception. Keshi said that the Rivers Whales are keen to synergize with the current NPFL champions.
Teqball will feature as a demonstration sport for the second time at the Festival. The demonstration event is slated for Sunday May 25th at the Remo Sports Complex in Ikenne.
