The Super Eagles camp in London has come alive ahead of the Unity Cup, with 10 home-based players already in for the invitational tournament which also features Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago.
After the first set of players another 10 that include Wilfred Ndidi, Bruno Onyemaechi, Nathan Tella and Semi Ajayi joined the group in camp. The second set joined the team before noon today.
The Nigeria Football Federation media unit that announced the arrivals has also confirmed that the games will be played at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford.
Former team captain Ahmed Musa, who currently plays for Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) arrived with Sikiru Alimi of Remo Stars, Saviour Isaac, Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, Junior Nduka, Sodiq Ismaila and Waliu Ojetoye. There are also Papa Mustapha, Collins Ugwueze, and Abubakar Adamu.
The Super Eagles will open the campaign with eternal rivals Ghana on Wednesday, 28 May.
Nigeria coach Eric Chelle arranged a mix of the NPFL and Europe-based players. Those from Europe include Moses Simon, and Kelechi Iheanacho who was left out of the Eagles last game against Zimbabwe.
