- The latest Victor Osimhen transfer to Chelsea, reportedly worth £60m, emerges amidst other offers on the table..
- The Chelsea transfer is strong amid ongoing links with Napoli.
- Having secured Champions League football next season, Enzo Maresca’s side are looking to bolster their options in the final third and closing in on the £30m signing of Liam Delap.
- Victor Osimhen is still also a target for Saudi side Al Hilal even though the attempt to sign him off the Napoli crisis last season failed.
- French media outlet L’Equipe claim that Al Hilal remain interested in a move for Osimhen, while Chelsea also reportedly on the looking for an attacker.
- It is been confirmed from several quarters that Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have held a long standing interest in Osimhen and it has not waned a bit. They came close to signing the 26-year-old striker last summer, before a deal with Napoli fell through after the Italian side allegedly changed their asking price.
- The daring attacker has been left out the Nigeria’s Super Eagles friendly matches as he sorts out the transfer developments.
- Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan for the closed season but the Turkish giants do not have the financial strength to keep him. During Osihmen’s time in Turkey, he won a league and cup double, scoring 37 goals in all competitions and notching a further eight assists. That fine form in front of goal has only heightened interest in his services this summer, with Napoli looking for a swift resolution to his transfer saga.
- The report from France also claims that another Italian giant, AC Milan are also interested in a move for Osimhen this summer, along with a potential move for Aleksandar Mitrovic, who incidentally, currently plays for Al Hilal.
- AC Milan are said to be also keen on a move for former Newcastle and Fulham striker Mitrovic, who would likely be free to move should Al Hilal secure the signing of Osimhen. Several of the moves and mix in the market are tied around the Nigerian hit man.
