Moses Simon joins Paris FC

Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon has completed his transfer to Paris FC after he announced his departure from FC Nantes on Tuesday, bringing an end to a memorable six-year stint with the Ligue 1 club. The transfer is valued at €7 million.

He completed his medical on Tuesday at his new Paris place and this was followed by the completion of other transfer formalities.

Simon wrote on Tuesday “Six seasons giving everything with my heart.

“Sprints, crosses, Goosebumps and memories engraved forever. Thank you FC Nantes, thank you, Beaujoire. I leave with pride and a piece of this club in my heart.”

The Nigeria international joined Nantes on loan from Spanish club Levante in 2019, before making the move permanent a year later making 201 appearances, scoring 37 goals, and providing 42 assists for Les Canaris. He would always remember lifting the Coupe de France trophy in 2022 after Nantes defeated OGC Nice, sealing the club’s fourth title ever, in the high level competition.

Paris FC got promoted at the close of last season returning to the French topflight after 46 years.
