Ex-Super Eagles Coach, Sinclair is dead

The family and some of his former players have confirmed the death of Coach Monday Sinclair.

The family wrote, “With total submission to the will of God, the Sinclair family announces the passing of our father, Coach Monday Sinclair, who passed away at about 3:15 p.m. this afternoon. We pray that God grants his soul eternal life.”

Coach Sinclair is credited to have discovered players like Richard Owubokiri, Benjy Nziakor, Finidi George, Peter  Rufai, Taribo West, Emmanuel Ebiede Inikio, Davidson Owumi, Idah Peterside, Binebi Numa, Imama Amapakabo and many others.

Sinclair coached Sharks FC before moving on to manage Niger Tornadoes, Bayelsa United, Enugu Rangers, Heartland amongst others.
