Sensational Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has praised Ajax goalkeeper Remko Pasveer after hitting three goals past the 41-year-old goalie during their UEFA Champions League game on Wednesday night..
The Nigerian attacker scored a hat-trick in the second half of the match after the first half ended goalless. He opened scoring with a header before converting two penalties in quick succession.
The Nigerian was captured on camera shaking and congratulating the Ajax goalie midway into the first half after he blocked the Galatasaray striker a close range hit in what could easily have been the opening goal.
Ajax began the season with Liverpool loanee Vítězslav Jaroš between the posts, but Pasveer, who turns 42 later this month, has since reclaimed the starting spot.

“He’s very old, I knew that. He still has it in him. He’s a good goalkeeper and has the qualities,” Osimhen said.
The hat-trick against Ajax has now given him six goals in the Champions League, making him the competition’s leading scorer after four matchdays. The Nigerian is running ahead of Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), and Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid).
