A new game known as You.fo Ring-Cross was formally introduced to the Kwara State Sports Commission on Wednesday, November 12.
The introduction was performed by the National Coordinator of You.fo Nigeria, Coach Musa Garba who commended the Kwara State Sports Commission for accepting the offer to host the game that will be a demonstration sports in the next Olympics.
Coach Musa charged the Commission to use the vantage position of Kwara State in the North Central to encourage other states in the region to embrace the new game.
In his response, the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission Coach Bolakale Adisa Magaji, who was represented by Mallam Ibrahim Oladele Bako appreciated the coordinator for giving the state the opportunity to participate in the new game that will attract schools, clubs and individuals.
As a further expression of the arrangement, an exhibition match is on the pipeline to show the game to the world in the coming weeks
The colorful ceremony was witnessed by top officials from the Kwara State Sports Commission namely Mr. Tsado Haruna the Secretary, Hajia Afusat Adesoye the Head of School Sports, Mr. Idowu Ayodeji the Stadium Manager, Bayour Issah the Consultant and Mr. Anthony Ikwuakolak of Tony Sports Nigeria Ltd.
