Foremost Nigerian sports kits manufacturer, Zenith Sports, will be honoured for its outstanding contributions to youth development through sports during the Cacatin Cup Final billed for Wednesday, November 19.
Coordinator of the competition, Tayo Adeyemo said Zenith Sports have donated sporting equipment and kits to various sports competition involving Nigerian youths.
“We appreciate what Zenith Sports have been doing in terms of sporting equipment, kits, match balls etc. donations for various sporting competitions involving our youths,” Adeyemo said.
Adeyemo listed other awardees are Brandvision Media, Lagos State Taskforce boss CSP Adetayo Akerele, Princess Omotunde Akinyele, Rev Samuel Ikpea who is the National Chairman Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Honourable Opeyemi Adunni Akindele Chairman Mosan Okunola LCDA and Cacatin Group.
It is to appreciate those who are investing in the development of Nigeria youths through sports.
“We all know Rev Samuel Ikpea as leader of the supporters club but many don’t know he sponsors youths every year during the summer through the Wonderland Summer Sports Coaching.”
Adunni Akindele has transformed Nigeria youths through sports just 100 days in office providing match balls and jerseys for clubs in Mosan Okunola LCDA.
CSP Adetayo Akerele is being honoured for being a good symbol of youths in Nigeria since he was appointed Lagos Taskforce chairman.
He has identified with various youths Programme and this has led to many youths dumping crime and reducing social vices in the state.
Cacatin Group delighted us by announcing ten years sponsorship of the Cacatin Cup for our youths.
“We hope this award will encourage other Nigerians will invest in our youths through,” Adeyemo said.
The award presentation comes up at Abesan Youth Centre today, Wednesday.
