Super Eagles camp update: Oyedika arrives on Monday night as 20 players join goalkeeper Uzoho

Returnee goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was the first player to arrive at the Sper Eagles camp on Sunday while Raphael Onyedika became the 21st player on Monday. He arrived at the hotel by about 9.30pm as the group rounded off for the day and set for bedtime.

There were only eight players as of bedtime on Sunday and 13 others arrived in camp on Monday. Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon asked to be excused for the Tuesday match against Egypt on Tuesday.

Three-time winners Nigeria and seven-time champions Egypt will face each other at the Cairo Stadium on Tuesday evening, in a friendly match meant to prepare both teams for their campaigns at the 35th Africa Cup of Nations finals kicking off in Morocco on Sunday.
