The 2026 Jagaban Cup final expectedly delivered a thrilling match between Broad City and Klassisch FC. Broad City narrowly defeated Klassisch 1-0 to claim victory in the final. The runners-up were seen by some followers of the grassroots competition as surprise finalists, but they lived above expectation to produce one of the best games seen in Lagos this year.

FC Bethel secured third place by overcoming Ikorodu City 4-2 in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

The four-day event took place at the Legacy Pitch of the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos. The tournament was organized by 36 Lion Investment, Diamond Sports Management, and the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA).

Jagaban Cup has proven over the last few years to be one of Nigeria’s best scouting tournaments. Grassroots players throughout Nigeria have seen it as a tournament to maintain good conduct and skill as they pursue better opportunities at home and abroad.

There were several licensed scouts from Nigeria and outside the country throughout the duration of the competition.
