3SC fans beg Chelle to call up Adegoke

Some fans of Some Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) in Ibadan have pleaded with Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle, to consider Qamar Adegoke for an invitation to the Unity Cup in London.

The fans, according to Mutiu Ijadunola, who serves as their spokesman, said that with Adegoke’s performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), he has shown he could be an understudy to Victor Osimhen if encouraged and properly guided.

Adegoke has proven to be the NPFL’s most clinical striker, averaging 0.68 goals per 90 minutes across 29 matches. Adegoke’s predatory instincts thrive even in the NPFL’s defensive climate.

At 21, he offers the stamina for high-pressing systems and the discipline (only one yellow card) required for international stages, the fans highlighted.

His Market Value is placed at €491k, making him the league’s most valuable domestic asset.

“London is the perfect ‘shop window’ for his talent. He isn’t just a prospect; he is a specialist right-footed “Number 9″ hitting his peak at the ideal time,” Ijadunola said.

He added that it would be unfair for Chelle to ignore Adegoke and deny him the opportunity to showcase his talent in London.
