Family remembers late Coach Ogbeide, seven years after

Seven years after his death, the family of late Coach Solomon Ogbeide has thanked God for keeping them strong.

Wife of the late Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars coach, Mrs Ndidi Ogbeide, said that God has remained faithful with the family, stressing that though they continue to miss him, God has been keeping them to weather the shock of his absence.

“Today is seven years after my husband and lovely father died, and we glorify God for standing by us.

“With His grace and mercy, we’ve been strong. The children are doing great, though they continue to miss their father.

“But Solo was a good man who continues to guide the children and me. The legacy of good and Godly life he lived is radiating over us; we get things done with little effort when people realise we’re his family. I thank God that he was a believer and a pillar in God’s vineyard. May his soul continue to rest in peace,” she said.

Mrs Ogbeide also appreciated some friends of her late husband for their continued support.

“Some of his friends have also been helpful. At short notice, they are ready to assist the family; we’re grateful.”
