The President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, Engr. Musa Kida has extended warm felicitations to the Nigerian Muslim faithful, at home and in the Diaspora.
The Federal Government of Nigeria declared Wednesday, May 27, and Thursday, May 28, as public holidays while schools went on midterm break to celebrate the festival.
In his goodwill message, Kida advised Nigerians to not only celebrate but to see it as a season to show compassion, love, peace, and unity.
Kida, who is also the Chairman of Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), noted that Nigeria is at a very important period of its national life.
The NBBF boss noted that it requires faith in the future prosperity of the country, as well as a strong belief and support for the government’s renewed hope agenda.
“As Nigerians and citizens of this great country, we must continue to show love, empathy, unity, and peaceful coexistence amongst ourselves,” he added.
