Enyimba Stadium to host South-South, South-East NLO Promotion Playoffs

The Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, will host the 2026 Nationwide League One (NLO) South-South and South-East Zones Promotion Playoffs.

The stadium has been chosen to stage the two promotion slot match-ups from July 29th to August 2nd, 2026.

In a communication signed by Dr. Olushola Ogunnowo, Chief Operating Officer, addressed to the Abia State Football Association, the NLO Secretariat urged the FA “to ensure a smooth, highly competitive, and well-organised tournament, as the final hosting plans for the upcoming playoff series have been completed.

The playoffs, lasting five days and involving both the South-South and South-East zones, will be held simultaneously at a single designated zone centre.

All qualified teams should arrive at their designated centres by July 28, 2026, for the pre-match technical meeting.

A detailed fixture list, venue assignments, and guidelines have been sent to the respective clubs through their State FAs.

However, the NLO says it will enforce a zero-tolerance policy for indiscipline, late arrivals, or failure to produce valid player licenses.  All State FAs are urged to emphasise the importance of fair play and strict compliance with league regulations to their clubs.
