The Aminu Good Works Foundation (AGWF), founded by NBA legend Al-Farouq Aminu, will host its 2026 Nigeria Basketball Combine and 10th Anniversary Celebration in Ibadan (August 7–9) at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, and in Abuja (August 13–16) at the MO Arena.
Celebrating 10 years of transforming lives through basketball, education, leadership, and mentoring, AGWF continues its mission of creating opportunities for young Nigerians both on and off the court.
The Ibadan Combine will feature 150 student-athletes (100 boys and 50 girls), while the Abuja event will host an Elite Invitational Combine for 30 of Nigeria’s top male prospects (ages 14–18) selected from Abuja and neighboring states.
Participants will receive elite basketball instruction, athletic testing, mentoring, leadership development, character education, and life skills training designed to prepare them for success in sports and in life.
The Camp Directors for Abuja are Coach Emmanuel Odah and Coach Adeka Daudu. The Ibadan centre has Coach Damola Awosika and Coach Dosu Mensah as the Directors.
The Camp Coordinator for both centres is Coach Mike Akuboh (Ibadan and Abuja).
The organisers have stated that “participation is strictly by invitation and selection only.”
