Enugu State Governor, Dr Peter Mbah, has rewarded Rangers FC with N150 million following their 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title triumph.

Mbah, who was present during the Club’s Title Parade on Tuesday at the Okpara Square, Enugu, said that the Enugu people were proud of Rangers and what they were able to achieve this season in the league by winning their second title in three years.

The Governor further explained that the package includes N100 million (One hundred million naira) for players and N50 million for the club management.

The State government also awarded a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) of a plot of land in Enugu to each player and the management of Rangers following their successful title-winning season.

Governor Mbah also assured that the stadium will be upgraded ahead of the CAF Champions League to be played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium and also the National Sports Festival (Coal City Games 2026), which will be hosted in Enugu later this year.

Rangers were crowned champions after they secured a hard-fought 2-1 win away at Ikorodu City in the last game of the season to secure their ninth NPFL trophy.
