Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Niger Tornadoes has unveiled former Nasarawa United coach Kabiru Dogo as the club’s new technical adviser ahead of the 2026/27 football season.
Dogo signed a three-year contract with the Minna-based club till 2029 after leading El-Kanemi Warriors to the final of the 2026 President Federation Cup.
Tornadoes, who survived the relegation battles last season, would be hoping that the appointment of Dogo will help to ensure that the team improves their performance on the field ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Speaking during the unveiling, Tornadoes Chairman, Dr. Abubakar Abdullahi, said that the club remains focused and determined to show total support to Dogo for the team to do better than they did last season.
“I’m happy to welcome coach Kabiru Dogo to our club, and we are going to remain focused and determined, and will show total support to make the team improve and get good results next season.
” I have the belief that we are going to keep on working and improving the team and will be active in the transfer market to recruit players that will help to play a huge role for us next season, he concludes.”
